Federal law allows 8 AM to 9 PM in the lead’s local time. Some states are stricter. Florida, Maryland, Oklahoma and a few others stop at 8 PM, Texas starts at 9 AM, Michigan treats calls before 9 AM as a crime, and some states ban Sunday calls.
Always go by the lead’s time zone, not yours. A good dialer does this for you.
Pennsylvania changes in October 2026: calls only from 9 AM to 7 PM and no Sundays. Rhode Island limits weekday calls to 9 AM to 6 PM.
